Dennis Wayne De Motta Sr., 64, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Public Works Division mechanic, former Big Island Toyota mechanic and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died at home. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Martina T.; sons Scot, Marc, Dennis Jr. and Erik; brother Robert Sr.; sister Betty Lou De Sa; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 11:30 a.m. at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
