SHIRLEY KEALA PITMAN
Born December 30, 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away March 27, 2012 after a six year battle with cancer. She is the only child of her mother Shirley Eileen Pitman and her father, Jack Pitman, (deceased), the renowned composer who wrote Beyond the Reef.
Keala attended Lutheran High School and Holy Nativity Elementary School. She was also continuing her education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, when health permitted, in furtherance of her degree.
She also attended Kaimuki Christian Church where she was baptized.
She was a licensed real estate agent for Island Properties, where she sold and managed properties, as well as a licensed massage therapist.
In her spare time she enjoyed playing tennis, traveling and spending time with her family and friends, all of whom will miss her tremendously.
Memorial service will be held at Kaimuki Christian Church, 1117 Koko Head Avenue at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Inurnment will be private. Casual/Aloha attire. In lieu of flowers, suggest donation to your favorite charity in Keala's memory.
