Albert F. Lopes Jr., 84, of Honolulu, a retired Army sergeant first class, Korean War veteran and member of the 5th Regimental Combat Team, died at home. He also was a Pearl Harbor Naval Base police officer. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Edna; son Lester; daughters Stephanie H. Uejio, Raynette Lopes, Tammy Chun and Melissa Rogne; sisters Betty Kamoku, Udelia Sillivan and Blenda Billman; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
