CECILIA ANNA KUAILAUN TAUM LEONG
Age 94, of Kalihi passed away on March 28, 2012 in Waipahu. Born February 14, 1918 in Honolulu. Cecilia was in the first graduating class of Maryknoll School in 1937. She worked at the Dole Pineapple Cannery and was retired from Sears Roebuck. She was a dedicated church member, who helped the church and anyone who needed help. She was married to Sum Chook"Ah Chook" Leong pre-deceased. They had six children Jerome "Chinny" pre-deceased (Yolanda), Joseph "Ah Chee" (Mary Slattery), David (Gwen), Timothy, Lucy Albo (Jeff pre-deceased) and George (Eugenie). Twenty grand-children (Jerome): Celeste (David), Danielle (Frank), Jerome Jules; (Joseph): Orlando (Cindy), Kerry Bouvion (Zach), Kelly Bobko (Chris); (David): Leonard, Camille Lindsey (Theodore), Karla Hamocon (Lance), Aimee Paahao, Brandie, Dana Faust (David Jr.), David Jr.; (Timothy): Keith (Susan), Tamara; (Lucy): Jamy (Joshua), Jodie, Jeffrey; (George): Bryan, Sherri. Thirty one great grandchildren (Jerome) Megan, Taryn, Schyler, Ashley, Nicholas, Jaylin; (Joseph) Ryan, Dylan; (David) Makana, Chynna, Keoki (Alanna), Kiana, Hoona, Pua, Cody, Dranden, Alika, Alicia, Thomas, Tatum, Daizsa, Dailynn, Dayanee, Dawson; (Timothy) Tea; (Lucy) Makakoa, Kanoa, Jayden Jr, Josiah, Julian, Sofia. Two great great grandchildren (David) Ayva, Keli'i. Surviving siblings, brother Remigius Taum; sisters Elizabeth Ka'anoi, Frances Soon, Patricia Peneku, Pauline Taum and Monica Pratt
Visitation 5:30 pm Thursday April 12 at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel, Service 6:30pm. Visitation 8:00 am Friday at Our Lady of the Mount Church, Mass 9:30 am; Burial 11:00 am at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Aloha Attire.
