Katsumi "Kats" Murakami, 82, of Pearl City, a retired city construction inspector and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, died at home. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Beatrice "Bea" Y., son Blane Y., brother Shigeo, sister Haruko Abe and two grandchildren. Private services.
