ELMER EARL ("MAC") MCCUNE
91, passed away on March 10, 2012 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Mac was the beloved husband of Helen Ann McCune (deceased) and father of Patricia Ann Slavick (James Slavick, deceased) of Nevada and Vicky Lee Short (Edward Short) of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. He was the grandfather of Kimberly Hale, Cynthia Hale (Allen Thomas), Taylor Short, Maile Short.
He was a World War II veteran having served as a member of the Ninth Air Force Service Command operating in the European Theatre.
He served as Master of the Overland Masonic Lodge St. Louis, Missouri, a member for 60 years, and was a 32nd Degree Member of the Scottish Rite.
A family memorial service will be held at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Saturday 21 April 2012 @ 11:30am; in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the individual's charity of choice.
