Our beloved Mother & Grand-mother Alice was born in Honolulu on Nov. 30, 1913. Passed away peacefully at the age of 98, in Roseville, Ca on March 19, 2012. She lived on Castle St for some +80 years, and was predeceased in death by her husband, James D. Joyce. Survived by two daughters, Winifred J. Perry (husband, Ken) and Dorene Vicens (husband, Mercer, ‘Chubby’). Eight Grandchildren, Ten Great-Grandchildren, Seven Great,-Great-Grand-children, wonderful nieces and nephews and many very good friends. She will always be remembered for her sincere love, devotion and generosity to her family. Viewing/Mass- ‘Celebration of Life services’ begin at 10am, April 19th, Thursday, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Church on Waialae Ave in Kaimuki, followed by internment and Christian burial at Diamond Head Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by sons, Stephen (Debbie) Tadashi Yoneda of NE, Wesley (Doreen) Tatsuo Yoneda, Terrance Nobuyoshi Yoneda; daughters, Gail (Palmer) Yoshiko Ching, Christine Junko Yoneda of OR; 6 granddaughters; 1 great-grand-son.

Age 92, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2012. Retired from Big Three Industries.

He was born on October 01, 1919. He was a mechanic by trade, but did and could fix just about anything. He had an avid love for horses, which he raised, trained and rode as a hobby in his free time.

His love for his family and spending time with them meant the world to him. He will be remembered and missed as a loving dad, grandpa, great grandpa and great, great grandpa.

He is pre deceased by wife, Ludy and grandson Gary Meeks. He is survived by son, Theodore (Louise) Martin, daughters, Dorothy Arbuckle, Lorraine Meeks, Julie Camara and Carol Wong, including 23 grandchildren, 61 great grand-children, 20 great, great-grand-children and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Brothers, James, Wilfred, Ralph of Honolulu, Robert of Riverside CA, sister, Gladys Ogle of GA.
