81Merle James Honaker, 97, of Kahului, a retired educator, died in Kahului. He was born in Cleveland. He is survived by wife Rose; sons Ernest and Joseph Honaker, and Jalvin Endriga; daughters Leilani, Kathleen and Janet; and 12 grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Nakamura Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m.
