Bernard Seiso Akamine, 89, of Honolulu, a Hawaiian Regent Hotel engineering department retiree and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 100th Infantry Battalion, Company B, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Jeanette Setsuko, son Barton, daughters Drusilla Tanaka and Candace Sakuda, brother George Shigeru and sisters Violet T. Tomihama, Betty C.
