Yvonne Haunani "Nani" De Canto, 68, of Hilo, a retired paramedical assistant, Pearl City Mental Health Clinic outreach counselor and homemaker, died. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son John III; daughters Dayna De Canto-Santiago, Desiree De Canto-Gardner and D'Vette De Canto; hanai daughter Shaena; brother Norman M. Puni; sisters Aloma Puni and Ava Krid-ler; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Hawaii island visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hilo. Services: 10:30 a.m. Oahu visitation: 9 a.m. May 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kalihi ward, 1723 Beckley St. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
