JOSEPH "TOMMY" MAHUNA THOMAS
Age 89, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away April 18, 2012 in Waianae. Born February 14, 1923 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Joseph was a retiree of the U.S. Army and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of the Royal Order of Kamehameha.
He is survived by wife, Nora Thomas; son, Joseph K. Thomas; daughters, Mary (Richard) Mawdsley of Mass, Yolanda (Lamont) Lindsey of CA, Naomi (Paul) Tanigawa of Maui, Lei (Steve) Blodgett; sister, Violet Piiohia; 25 grand-children; 52 great-grand-children.
Visitation 9:00 a.m. Thursday (May 3) at Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; (92-900 Makakilo Dr., Kapolei, HI) Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Committal Service 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
