Matilda G. “Tilly” Wai, 81, of Hilo, a poultry farm worker, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Clayton and Emery; daughters Patricia Benitez, Leandra Wai, Kerima M. Shindo and Caron M. ML Allen; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Private services.
