Susumi Tomishima
April 19, 2012 Susumi "Cigar" Tomishima, 88, of Honolulu, a retired heavy-duty equipment inspector at Pearl Harbor Public Works Center, an Army veteran and Army Reserve retiree, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Setsuko; son Ronald; daughters Eileen Uemoto, Marion Sato, Lydia Osakoda and Kathy Yamashita; sisters Tomeyo Kanesue, Kiyoko Inasaki and Yoshiko Osumi; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: noon Saturday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 1 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. Additional information for an obituary published Tuesday.
