Benson Sakio Yamanaka, 79, of Kailua, an Amfac & Bello's Millwork retiree and an Army veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Kona. He is survived by wife Marjorie; son Todd; daughter Ruth Sales; brother Herbert; sisters Elsie Franca, Annie Tanaka, Helen Shimizu and Lorraine Kunishima; and four grandchildren.
