Sumie Tashiro, 97, of Wahiawa died in Wahiawa. She was born in Kapaau, Hawaii. She is survived by son George Jr., daughters Karen E. Mead and Kathrine Tashiro, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 5 p.m. Saturday at Shinnyo-en Hawaii, 2348 Beretania St., Honolulu. Reception: 6 p.m. at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. Aloha attire. No flowers.
