79Katsumi "Kats" Nii, 87, of Hilo, a retired state Department of Agriculture meat inspector, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by daughter Elsie Miyazono, sisters Yachiyo Nagata and Fumie Kawano, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
