Daniel “Swampy” Arias Sr., 90, of Kapolei, a retired Windward Passage maintenance employee, died in Kapolei. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Rodney Sr., Joseph and Daniel Jr.; daughter Nettie Simmons; brother Raymond; sisters Linda Drose, Rita Stair and Marie Mendes; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
