Eleanor “Elena” Kuuleimomi Kanahele, 71, of Kekaha, Kauai, a Ke Akua Mana Church evangelist, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Puuwai, Niihau. She is survived by hanai daughters Rose Vaivao, Tano Castaneda, Melanie Kaneapua, Marian Eguchi and Rowena Pangan; brother the Rev. Henry Kahale; sister the Rev. Mabel Kaneapua; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary. Services: 11:15 a.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery. Casual attire.
