Thelma Marie Groff Jones, 89, of Hilo, formerly of Aiea, a professional singer and an Army Air Corps veteran who served in World War II and was an aviation metalsmith, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home, Hilo. She was born in Philadelphia. She is survived by sister Pearl Jacobson. Private services.
