David Lee Lagat, 58, of Germany, formerly of Papaikou, Hawaii, an Air Force retiree, died in Germany. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Hae Ok "Tina"; daughters Christine Nakamori and Lydia Mukai; father Benigno "Ben"; brothers Francis, Maurice and Paul; sisters Inez Johnson and Carla Lagat; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
