Age 89, of Honolulu, passed away April 27, 2012 at Queen's Medical Center. Born March 21, 1923 in Koloa, Kauai. She was an East-West Center Student Counselor and Director of UH Manoa Continuing Education for Women. In her memory please donate to your favorite Charity.
She is survived by sons, Michael Lau of Texas, Wendell Lau of Seattle; daughter, Richela Das; brothers, David (Lorraine) Funakoshi, Raymond (Linda) Funakoshi, Francis (Mae) Funakoshi, Ronald Funakoshi; sisters, Marion (Lloyd) Inaba, Lillian (George) Takahara, Geraldine (Stanley) Katayama; 3 grand-children; 1 great-grandchild.
Committal service 2:00 p.m. Fri, 5/25 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Celebration of life at 3 pm 1717 Mottsmith Dr., Pavilion Room.
