74Elizabeth Keawe Kaili Alapai, 89, of Pahoa, Hawaii, formerly of Kalihi Uka Valley, a retired Hawaii State Hospital nurse and Royal Elementary School kupuna, died at home. She was born in Kilauea, Kauai. She is survived by son Sam K., daughters Valerie M. Chu and Taila J. Alapai, 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home, Hilo. Services: 1:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church, Kalihi Uka. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples.
