He is survived by wife, Patricia Kapanui; sons, John Kapanui, Virgil (Lynette) Kapanui, Stephen (Ann) Kekaulike; daughters, Annette (Kent) Holbron, Stevenette "Cookie" (Randy) Lee; brothers, Simeon (Adrienne) Kekaulike, George (Dianna) Aukai; sisters, Elizabeth Lehua (Bill) Lee, Doris Wright; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation 6:00 p.m. Monday 6/4 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, Service 7:30 p.m. Visitation also 8:30 a.m. Tuesday 6/5 at the Mortuary, Service 9:30 a.m. Burial 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
