Edward Carrillo-Melendez, also known as “Flaco” and “Papi,” 56, of Kaneohe, a Tripler Army Medical Center materials handler and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is survived by wife Antonellia; daughters Daniela, Carmen and Elizabeth Carrillo-Melendez, and Leilani Parado; brother Ramon; and three grandchildren.
