Chester Mitsuo Toma, 70, of Pueblo, Colorado, a retired Air Force Veteran who served with SAC (Strategic Air Command) died in Pueblo. He was employed by the Bendix Corp. at the tracking station in Guam where he served as a communication technician for Apollo 8, Apollo 11 and Apollo 13. He continued his career in Santa Clara, California. He is survived by wife Lorraine of Pueblo, Colorado, brother Walter (Jane) Toma of Portland, Oregon, and sister Jeanette (Patrick) Tamayori, Honolulu. Chester will be laid to rest in Honolulu.
