Francis Pahia, 85, of Anahola, Kauai, a retiree from the Air Force and the Operating Engineers, died on Kauai. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Elsie A.K.O.; son Gary F.; daughters Patricia Kanohokula, Laura Limo, Linda Canincia, Charlene Omura and Karen Pahia; stepsons Henry Ornellas and Daniel Kama; stepdaughters Katherine Huddy and Patsy Hapenney; brother John; sister Rose Gleason; 26 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 22 step-great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
