WALTER FROELICH NICOLET
WALTER FROELICH NICOLET Age 38, a cherished son, brother and friend was born September 4, 1963 in Canton, Ohio and passed into the loving arms of his savior, Jesus Christ, on March 22, 2002 in Chicago, Illinois. He was known to his family and friends as Wally. Wally is survived by his loving mother, Nancy Froelich Lewis and her husband John Kenneth of Sugar Land, Texas. He also leaves behind; sister, Michelle Martine Nicolet and her husband Marshall Burt, niece, Madeline and nephew Nicholas of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Denise Noelle Groth and her husband David, nieces Taylor and Kathryn of Sugar Land, Texas; aunt Lynda Gruver and her husband Frank, and nephew Andrew of Newport Beach, California. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth and Kathryn Froelich, who were very involved in the Hawaii community with many interests such as Central Union Church, Rotary Club and Frito Lay of Hawaii. Wally has now returned to Hawaii and will be interred adjacent to his grandparents at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Wally was a kind, joyful and gentle person, loved by his family and many, many friends in Lake Bluff, Illinois, Honolulu, Hawaii and Chicago, Illinois. While in Honolulu, he lived at the Kahala Beach Condominium and attended Kahala Elementary. After returning to Illinois, Wally graduated from Lake Forest High School and attended Columbia College in Chicago. He was employed as a graphic designer by the Daily Planet in Chicago, at the time of his untimely passing. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Wally, will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, June 15, 2012, at Central Union Church in the Atherton Chapel, at 1680 Beretania Street, Honolulu, with Rev. Gloria Imamura officiating. Interment will follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park, in Honolulu. Condolences to the family may be made at www.earthmansouthwest.com.
