REV. JOSEPH LAWRENCE K. KAMAI, SR.
Age 81, of Kapolei, Hawaii, passed away May 13, 2012 in Ewa Beach. Born April 20, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Member of Ka Makua Mau Loa Church since 1955, and ordained as a minister in 1987. A retired Honolulu Police Officer, a retiree of Victoria Ward Security and a marine veteran of the Korean War. He also served as a marine reservist.
He is survived by sons Donald J. (Stephanie) Kamai, Joseph (Lee Ann) Kamai, Jr., Kevin (Elena) Kamai, Jonny (Carol) Kamai; daughter, Sharon (Jeff) Fujii; brother, Rocky (Yon Sik) Kamai; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. Monday (June 18) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha Attire. Welcome.
