The Rev. Joseph Lawrence K. Kamai Sr., 81, of Kapolei, a retired Honolulu Police officer, a Victoria Ward security retiree and a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Donald J., Joseph Jr., Kevin and Jonny; daughter Sharon Fujii; brother Rocky; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
