Carl John Rotert Jr., 57, of Kailua-Kona, a property management employee and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Dallas. He is survived by wife Barbara; son Steve; stepsons Raymond, Dave, Richard and Robert Uribes; stepdaughters Debra and Teresa Uribes, Betty Truba and Violet Rios; brother William; sisters Beverly Rotert and Sandy Soto; 39 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-great-grandchildren.
