74Mariano A. Dela Cruz, 100, of Kaumakani, Kauai, a sugar plantation laborer, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Estrella; sons William, Peterson, Reynold, Orlando, Nelson, Christopher, Robert and Brandon; daughter Mary Ann; stepdaughter Elizabeth Lorenzana; brother Benny; sister Filomena Tumamao; 35 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. June 29 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. June 30 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Kekaha. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
