Age 69, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away June 11, 2012 in Honolulu. Born April 5, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Barbara was retired from the Navy Public Works Center. She was a member of Na Kupuna O Koolau, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Pearl Harbor Hawaiian Civic Club, and Menehune Marchers.
She is survived by husband, Percy Kihano; daughter, Michele (Anthony) Ostrowski; mother, Esther Hopu; brother, Hiram Hopu, Jr.; sisters, Kuuleiminamina (Richard) Mercado, Leinaala (Bruce) Chamberlin; grand-daughters, Kealaokuupualilia Ostrowski, Leilani Ostrowski.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. Friday (June 29) at St Ann's Catholic Church; (46-129 Haiku Rd., Kaneohe) Mass 11:45 a.m. Burial 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Aloha Attire. No flowers, please.
