Maria Santos Medina, 83, of Eleele, Kauai, a retired Pioneer cornfield worker, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by sons Nelson, Carlos, Limuel, Arthur, Edmond and Litho; daughters Estrella Fernando, Marilyn Corpuz and Leony Medina; brother Genaro Santos Sr.; sister Feliciana Santos; 27 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire.
