Age 80, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away May 28, 2012 in Aiea. Born March 2, 1932 in Waipahu, Hawaii. Retired from Catholic Charities Palama Settlement and also for Heide & Cook, Ltd. as a refrigeration, air condition mechanic. Founder & leader of Makibaka (Ota Camp).
He is survived by spouse, Leonora “Nora” Baclaan Gozon-Tagalog; sons, Darrell P. Tagalog Lapulapu, Peter K. (Marnelle) Gozon-Tagalog; daughters, Juanita (Eddie) Visitacion, Grace L. Townsend, Vivian M. Tagalog (Joel Garcia), Anette M. (Stefan) Ibarra, Abigail I. (James) Kupihea, Leonette I. Tagalog (Kalani) Ka’auamo, Naomi Gozon-Tagalog; 20 grand-children; 13 great-grand-children; former wife, Sally Tagalog; sister, Loretta Tagalog (Shack) Shinozawa).
Visitation 6-9 p.m. Monday (July 2) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Wake Service 6:30 p.m. Visitation also 8:15 a.m. Tuesday (July 3) at St Joseph Catholic Church; (94-675 Farrington Hwy., Waipahu) Mass 9:30 a.m. Burial 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
