78Raymond Augustine Basug, also known as "Ray" and "Pops," 70, of Waianae, a retired Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co. foreman, died in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Julieana "Julie," son Clarence, daughters Dorene and Regina, stepson Mark Kekumu, stepdaughters Jeddie "Kaui" and Majet Kekumu, brother Herbert, sister Charlene Bandalan, 33 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
