82Dionicio Alfredo "Pedong" Purisima, 82, of Kalaheo, Kauai, a McBryde Sugar Plantation irrigator, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Gregoria "Goyang"; sons Bernard and Arnel; daughter Arlene; brother Thomas; sisters Eugenia Peralta, Lourdes Mirasol and Nina Sapilo; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at the Purisima family residence, 2067 Peleleu St., Kalaheo. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. July 14 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kalaheo. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Raphael Catholic Cemetery, Koloa. Casual attire.
