William "Bill" Heltzel, 85, of Honolulu, a retired Air Force major and pilot, died in Honolulu. He was born in Elgin, Ill. He is survived by son Rick and sister Amy Purtzer. Private services. No flowers. Donations suggested to the American Cancer Society.
