Richard T. Matsu ura, 81, of Pasadena, Calif., owner of Ri-Mat Enterprises Inc. and an Air Force veteran who served in World War II, died in Los Angeles. He was born on Maui. He is survived by wife Jewell; daughters Nichole Y. Kuo, Michele Y. Shibuya and Candace S. Iwanye Matsuura; sister Alice M. Kono; and seven grandchildren. Celebration of life held in Los Angeles. Private services on Maui.
