Kenichi Eshima, 94, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. government carpenter at Hickam Air Force Base and an Army veteran who was a member of Company B, 1,399th Engineer Construction Battalion, died. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Douglas M., caregiver and daughter-in-law Helen, brothers Toshio and Richard, and sisters Roberta S. Takara and Doris T. Hanoa. Private services.
