Alvin Paul Bungat
June 26, 2012 Alvin Paul Bungat, 67, of Kapolei, a chief instructor of Kajukenbo Ch'uan Fa Kung Fu and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Rosario; sons Gilbert L. and Robert Kaai, and Alvin, Andre, Angel and Armand Bungat; daughters Doreen Garcia, Julie Kaai, Sydette Lagadon and Soraya Robello; brothers Gilbert B. Kaai, George Silvano and Richard Dameg; sister Yvette Basquez; 25 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 91-1004 North Road, Ewa Beach. Mass: 10 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers.
