BERNARD "ZERO" SHIGAKI
Bernard "Zero " Shigaki, born on November 11, 1944 and passed on June 29, 2012. Zero is a 1962 graduate of Kamehameha School for Boys, as it was then known, and is a retiree of the Honolulu Police Department. Thereafter he worked for another two decades in the seafood industry, his real passion.
Zero is survived by his loving wife Virginia; his children: Ha'aheo (Justin), Barney (Robyn), Kayettie (Peter), and Gianna (Robert), his brother Lawrence (Billy), his eight grandchildren and his six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Bishop Memorial Chapel on the Campus of Kamehameha Schools Kapalama on July 29, 2012. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. and services shall be held at 11:00 a.m. Lunch planned by Zero to follow services.
