Reuben R. Ibanez, 78, of Reno, Nev., formerly of Pahala, Hawaii, a marketing manager and publicist and an Air Force veteran, died in Reno. He was born in Paahau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Ruth; brothers Miguel Ebanez and Magdolino Ibanes; sisters Celerine Lumanlan, Aurelia Ibanes, Margaret Burns, Mary Ibanes, Julia Rances, Amada Pacheco, Patricia Gonsalves, Jena Pacyao and Laly Ebanez; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services in Susanville, Calif. No flowers. Additional information for an obituary published Saturday.
