Siaosi "George" Thompson, 73, of Aiea, retired from Hickam civil service and Air Force Reserve, died in Kailua. He was born in Fagatogo, Tutuila, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Ivoga P.; sons Rudolph T. "Rudy" and George A. "Bo"; daughter Emma T.; brothers Dennis, William, Robert and Norman Apisa, and Wallen, Papaliitele (the Rev.) Jack Tihati and Wallace Thompson; sisters Caroline Dipzinski, Esther Shimasaki and Margret Tupuola; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Island Family Christian Church, 3375 Salt Lake Blvd. Services: 10:30 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
