77Ichiro Toba, 96, of Kahului, an employee at Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co., East Maui Irrigation and Kahului Development Co., and retired Maui County land surveyor, died in Hale Makua, Kahului. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by sons Bert, Morris and Rodney; daughter Joyce Watanabe; brothers Jiro, Shiro, Goro, James and Dr. Harold; sisters Jane Saikami, Patsy Kaya and Sally Murakami; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kahului Union Church. Services: 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. No flowers.
