Clay Wesley Groom, 72, of Honolulu, a retired Air Force technical sergeant and retired state Department of Health aide at the State Hospital, died. He was born in Elvins, Mo. He is survived by daughters Dawn A. Monroe and Jodie R. Maeda, and four grandchildren. Visitation: 11 a.m. Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: noon. Inurnment: 11:30 a.m. Aug. 13 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers.
