80Fred Matao Yamashita, 85, of Kahului, a Kahului Trucking machinist, died at home under hospice care. He was born in Haiku, Maui. He is survived by wife Nancy, sons Lee and Dean, daughter Cathy Tam, brothers George and Calvin, sister Nancy Tanaka, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Kahului Union Church. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial at a later date.
