Eugene E. Giardina, 88, of Honolulu, a CBS New York editor and TV cameraman, and an Army veteran who served in Gen. George S. Patton's Third Army 8th Armored Division during World War II, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Lyndhurst, N.J. He is survived by wife Joyce G., sons E. Ric and Robert S., and a grandchild. Services pending. Additional information for an obituary published Friday.
