Russell Takashima, 90, of Kahului, a Young Brothers stevedore and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company K, died in Charlottesville, Va. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by daughter Faith Minyard, sisters Vivian Watanabe and Dorothy Ogasawara, and four grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nakamura Mortuary. Services: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
