John Rosario Jr., 87, of Honolulu, a merchant seaman who served in World War II, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Rose; sons Leroy and Glen; daughters Mercedes Maka, Isabelle Kekahuna, Diana Uptegrove, Rosemary Rosario and Antoinette Galarza; sister Rita Padilla; 25 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
