Jose C. Costales Sr., 97, of Kekaha, Kauai, a retired sugar plantation truck driver, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Mary T.; sons Martin, Edwin, Paul, Joe, Ernest and Jose Jr.; daughters Patrica Drury and Cari Ann Csigi; brother Pedro; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Theresa Church, Kekaha. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Public Cemetery. Casual attire.
